I was born and raised in Worcester, Mass and haven't ventured too far from my roots. I've lived in Connecticut for the past 25 years, settling not far from Long Island Sound on the eastern side of the state. I've been married to my husband Dennis for 17 years and we have a 14 year old son, Jeremy.

For the past 20 years I've worked as a Research Biologist at Pfizer Pharamaceuticals in Groton, Connecticut with a focus on heart disease. I am also the owner of the "Scrapaholics Hideaway", a home-based scrapbooking business that offers product and scrapbooking getaways for local scrapbookers.

My first loves have been music and writing. I am a trained classical singer and have been involved in musical theater since I was 17.

When not at home, I love to travel and photograph this great country of ours. My favorite "haunts" are South Dakota and the southwest. If I had my druthers, I would live on a ranch in Montana!

I have been a fan of the Big Valley since I was a little girl and am a diehard HEATHEN to the end!
